Just a few minutes outside of downtown New Carlisle for some fresh air and good hiking trails. My kids love to count how many frogs they see jump into the water from the boardwalk and they're always on the look out for snakes.
Nice trails through the woods. A few inclines. Need to be cautious of the roots and loose rocks. Suggest hiking boots so you don't twist and ankle on the rougher areas of trails. Pretty lake. Be on the lookout for snakes and other wild life. It is raw beautiful nature. Clean restrooms available at the beginning of the trail.

Super cool park - beautiful trails, public restrooms with flush toilets. Water is available but it is really full of iron and tastes like it. Good picnic shelter, tables.
Trails need to be maintaned on the boardwalk, but other than that, I really enjoyed it!
